Name one film which is based on a novel and present your opinion about it - Forrest Gump

The film entitled Forrest Gump is the screening of a novel pen by Winston Groom. The title role is played by gobbler Hanks, one of the best actors of our times who has won the Oscar prize for his acting.

Forrest Gump is a romantic, warm and amusing story of a simple and non very intelligent young man whose bearing reflects the ups and downs of the States in the sixties and the seventies. The setting of this movie takes place in the small town Alabama and also in Vietnam when Forrest serves in the army. The time period of the movie takes place around the 1960s and 1970s as Forrest is growing up. The whole movie is seen through the eyes of Forrest Gump, who describes events of his life and the ways they happened.

Forrest is a somewhat retarded but large-hearted unusual young men. He becomes a star football game player, a soldier in Vietnam, a successful businessman, a ping-pong champion, a jogger-hero and a shrimp boat captain. He meets Elvis, John Lennon, and President Kennedy. However, there is one defining fragment in his life, his love for Jenny. Shes never far from his thoughts, no depend what hes doing or where he is.

In my opinion, this movie is nothing short of a masterpiece.
